How exactly do you use the trigger triggerer? I've placed it over a trigger for a baddie and set the triggered for it a few rooms later but it doesn't work. I've tried changing the order of the triggers but it still doesn't work. any help would be appreciated.

"Qui va la j't'en prie ?"

  • Set a first trigger (A), as per normal.

  • Place the Trigger Triggerer NULLMESH, which can be found in the objects list, on that same trigger (A).

  • With the square selected (the square where you placed trigger (A)), click on the 'T' button which is located below the plan view grid.

  • Now select the NULLMESH and set a trigger (B) for it.

Now, (A) will not be enabled until (B) has been triggered first.

Hope that will help !!!

So you can prevent a trigger from working by setting up a trigger triggerer?

What's the application?

Wot do you mean MicB ?
Wots the purpose of it?

Well, there are a few reasons some of them being:

  • You dont want Lara to leave a particular area until she has collected all the items required for her to open new areas (in case there is no way back to the area where she was supposed to collect these items).

  • You can set two switches as a combination to trigger, say, a door for instance, using the Trigger Triggerer.

  • .......

The application of a trigger triggerer is cool... For instance if you have placed a trigger for a baddy at the entrance of a room but you want it to be triggered only when Lara is already inside or goes out but not when she comes in, it is cool to place a trigger triggerer nullmesh on the baddy trigger (with the T button on) and to place the trigger for the trigger triggerer under a pick-up or a few squares from the entrance inside the room so the baddy will trigger behind Lara's back or when she is trying to go out of the room...
Aaaarg.. I don't know if you will understand a word to what I'm trying to say... It is so complicated to explain by writing...

Anyway... just try and you'll see it's cool...
